SPACE-INNOVATE@UNI joined the 2nd session on EntreComp: From Framework to Implementation

Members of SPACE-INNOVATE@UNI joined the most recent workshop on EntreComp, the entrepreneurship competence framework, and how to apply it in the context of EIT HEI projects.

The online session was designed to give information and tools for Cohort 5 projects to use the principles of EntreComp in their actions. The presentations on the scope of EntreComp were nicely complemented by the use of breakout rooms, where different projects could interact and discuss how best to implement the framework in their projects.

In the case of SPACE-INNOVATE@UNI the EntreComp framework will be used to support the creation of the online training course Innovation for Future Technologies. Several members of the project team are now working on developing and implementation the training course and more news will be given along the way.

EntreComp in a nutshell

SPACE-INNOVATE@UNI will join the upcoming session on EntreComp: From Framework to Implementation

As part of its ongoing efforts to develop training programmes and workshops for the space community, SPACE-INNOVATE@UNI will participate in the upcoming second EntreComp session, From Framework to Implementation.

The online session will support Cohort 5 projects, including SPACE-INNOVATE@UNI, in translating the insights gained during the first session, incorporated into the project’s 1st Co-creation Workshop on September 30th. into concrete actions. Participants will revisit the key principles of the EntreComp Framework, reflect on how these are being integrated into their respective EIT HEI projects, and exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and explore initial implementation plans.

Space Innovate joins the EIT Women and Girls in STEM Forum 2026

The Space Innovate project will be represented in the upcoming EIT Women and Girls in STEM Forum 2026, this year organised in Prague, Czech Republic on the 26 November 2026.

The EIT Women and Girls in STEM Forum (WGSF) is the flagship annual event of the Girls Go STEM initiative, led by the EIT Community and coordinated by EIT RawMaterials. Building on previous editions organised by Girls Go Circular in cooperation with the European Commission, the Forum provides a platform for students, educators, mentors, policymakers and industry representatives to exchange ideas and promote gender equality and inclusion in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The 6th edition of the Forum will take place on 25–26 November 2026 at Spojka Events in Prague, Czechia, under the theme of women in aerospace and closing the gender gap in STEM. The event will bring together approximately 200 participants, including girls aged 14–19 and their teachers from across Europe, alongside policymakers, industry leaders and representatives of the wider EIT Community.

The programme will also feature hands-on workshops, mentoring activities, a planetarium visit for students and teachers, and high-level discussions on space, Europe’s competitiveness and the role of young people in shaping the future. Exhibition booths and networking opportunities will further encourage knowledge exchange and collaboration among participants.

With its focus on Europe’s future space innovators, the Forum offers a valuable opportunity to highlight the importance of gender equality, innovation and youth engagement in the aerospace sector. Our project will be represented by Agata Kołodziejczyk, contributing to the exchange of ideas and the wider conversation on making STEM more inclusive and accessible to the next generation.
