Objectives
1. Institutional Transformation – innovation, entrepreneurship and structured cooperation with Climate KIC and EIT Food are fully embedded within the governance frameworks, strategic priorities and decision making processes of all participating HEIs. This means that innovation and research valorisation are no longer peripheral activities but recognised institutional priorities supported by leadership mandates, formal strategies and permanent coordination mechanisms across the alliance by the end of the project.
2. Structured and Sustainable Alliance – KIC Cooperation – UNIVERSEH operates a stable and structured cooperation model with Climate KIC and EIT Food, based on aligned thematic priorities, recognised liaison structures and institutionalised pathways connecting education, research and startup ecosystems. This objective ensures that collaboration with the selected KICs becomes strategic, aligned with our mission and sustainable beyond the duration of the project.
3. Embedded Interdisciplinary Innovation Education – entrepreneurship and innovation skills and competences are systematically integrated into interdisciplinary STEM curricula across the alliance, reaching at least 6,500 learners and forming a permanent component of educational programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. This objective reflects a structural shift from discipline based technical training towards integrated innovation capacity building aligned with climate and food system transformation challenges.
4. Strengthened research to market Capacity – participating institutions demonstrate strengthened and harmonised research valorisation and startup support systems, resulting in at least 30 supported ventures and improved interoperability of innovation support mechanisms across the alliance. This objective reflects a measurable enhancement of the alliance’s capacity to translate scientific excellence into market-ready solutions and scalable ventures.
5. Strategic Ecosystem Integration – The alliance operates with a coordinated and strategically prioritised partnership framework aligned with European climate, food and space related innovation ecosystems, enhancing cross sector collaboration and reinforcing the alliance’s role within EU level value chains. This objective ensures that UNIVERSEH is not only internally transformed but externally positioned as a structured innovation actor within European ecosystems.
